Stupidly, I sold my custom shop Nocaster with a perfect 10/56 neck and when I decided I wanted to replace it I realized I couldn't because that neck is usually .88" at the 1st fret and mine was .93" So I thought why not build one. I ordered the neck with the specs that I assumed would be very close to my CS Nocaster. Musikraft was great working with me on neck thickness and only charged a bit more to provide the .93" dimension at the first fret. Excitedly pulled it out of the box today and as soon as grabbed it was pretty far off from the 10/56 I was expecting. First impression is that I don't like it, but guess I will give it a try. Seems like a lot of people like V necks.
