I finally got things arranged and put away, and vacuumed the floor so that my new (since last summer) music room is reasonably presentable for pictures.

Here's the "command post". All kinds of noise and distraction within easy reach, plus my stack of important paperwork.

Here's lookin' out the window. . .I have a plan (don't worry) for that blank spot on the wall.

And here's me music system for records and radio. I have a little boombox CD player, haven't found a spot for it yet.

I like it! It’s on now, though. I gotta spring clean mine and I’m gonna post pics. I like your space. Looks comfortable.

Well done cleaning up, my room is unpresentable to visitors or for pics.
I've been meaning to clean it up for some years now. For a 16ft x 16ft or 5 x 5 mtr room there's no room to swing even the smallest of cats.

    A mansion! Mine's about 9' x 10'. Our cat died, but that's not why.

Four of my guitars--including Ol' Simple shown on the floor stand--live on hangers around the house, in the hall and in the laundry room.

Wall hangers is a good idea, I bought a box of them a few years back but cant find them under the mess.

I am also in the "not for visitors" category these days. Being an old 10x10 room, I have a path to the chair and every other bit of real estate is covered by amps and cabs. Needs to be cleaned up soon...I ordered new picks last week only find an unopened bag of 24 behind some old guitar parts. It is getting that bad. Maybe this weekend.....?

Cool room. I spend most of my time in my little corner of the world. I have three amps and three guitars in my little room, they gather dust, but I keep the computer screen pretty clean.

I am a fan of milk crate organization myself. Charts, gear, books...doesn't matter. Nice space, nice guitars!

I love it! I'll bet you can walk in there, close the door, and just soak in the vibes. Perfect for unleashing the muse :)

    Nicely organized!
I’m just now setting up my new music room in the new house I just moved to in Reno. It’s the nicest room I’ve ever had for a man cave, 17’ x 18.5’, with two French doors that open to a second floor balcony facing the mountain ranges.
I’ve been trying different layouts of stuff using a great app, MagicPlan, on my iPad.
Should be able to get everything in... a large computer desk, a smaller project desk for electronic and guitar setup projects, all the amps and guitars, and shelves/cabinets for storage.

    Nice room.

Is that a 1970's Sanyo 8 track/AM/FM turntable combo stereo?

Good eye! It was marked $3.00 at a garage sale in Port Orford. It was grimy, with a thick coating of smoke film. I tried to leave it, but the lady talked me in to taking it for free! I used it a couple years at school. I don't know if the 8-track works or not, but the turntable and receiver work fine.

I am so glad it was so nice, and that I got my five cents' worth.

I sure would not want to have to ask for my Nickelback.

Trouble. I don't know what I did, and now the turntable is goobered up. The switch won't turn off, keeps going in any position, and the speed is slow and irregular, kind of a creeping wah wah effect, not a very good sound.

Anyone know where to get this repaired, or how to do it?
