I found this in my mailbox yesterday. Straight from the UK to California:

Let me just say Nick Williams is the Maestro of Fuzz as far as I'm concerned. I'm pretty sure you could defeat a small army with this beast. It looks so unassuming and simple, yet the tone coming out of this MONSTER is ridiculous. Three vintage Mullard germanium transistors. I told Nick I am officially converted to the Church of Germanium. This is one of the coolest devices I've plugged a guitar into in years. Serious bang for the buck. It even came with a fresh 9V battery installed. Nick is a man of his word, an honorable and lovely guy.

You keep spelling "Ed Sanner" wrong.

Thanks for the info. I'm sure Ed Sanner's pedals are good too (and he's a lot closer to my house), but Nick's was like half as much money, was custom made to order, and is truly a fine product.

Actually it is true bypass. I'm going to try to get some kind of recording up at some point in the near future.
