This has nothing to do with Telecasters so tell Me if I am posting wrong.
I have never seen a Rockstar house as that one of the late George Harrison.
House is the wrong description as is it is a 120 room Castle with incredible big garden. Or actually there Where so many different gardens its hard to keep up with it. But a very big Space of gardens any way. Friar Park.

Yikes. Think of the staff you'd need just to keep the place dusted!

Something slightly more modest appeals to me, such as Brian Ray's house in Palm Springs, CA. Every guitarist should have a Les Pool:

Wow, I had no idea that George's pile was so huge! I used to live nearby and drove past many times. There was always a bunch of folk hanging around the gate, hoping for a glimpse of George.

I've always thought those kind of places are excessive, but then again I don't have that kind of money or fame, so what would I now?

    Theres such a thing as too big;

Real estate is location dependent, so there have been mansions sold in my town for $250k and less. But, they're old, and utility cost alone would be a substantial added cost. But since guitar and amp shopping has me always on the lookout for great deals, I totally watched those things when house hunting. One had a garage we could have feasibly rented out to someone wanting to store 6ish classic cars.

Another was originally built by the Swisher Cigar family.

Many musicians seem to own alot of nice houses. That makes sense to me. For the cost of one impressive looking pad in LA, you can probably get half a dozen quarter million dollar homes elsewhere that are bigger.
Clapton owns 5+, UK, France, Antigua, 2 in US that I'm aware of.
Keef owns palatial estates in Connecticut, UK, and on some island?

    That seems practical.
    Harrisons house is Indeed monolithic.

Ask any financial advisor: real estate is nearly always a good investment. They aren't making any new land, you know.

I Think he owned houses in Hawaii, Austalia and Los Angeles. But smaller. The one in LA I think he sold in the 80 ties. The one in Austalia had to do with his interest in Formula 1.

Daryl Hall's house's (there were 2 combined into 1) in Millerton, NY were pretty nice, inside and out.

He shot the bulk of "Live From Daryl's House" there.

I wish he was still there; and playing great music with new and seasoned artist's.

It get's my vote for a cool "Rock Star" house.

Seems rather unprotected. But a very nice house. But I would have thought he’d have higher gates

I think a lot of rockstars that still live in the UK have huge old houses like that. I know John Lord of Deep Purple had one, and so did Entwistle, which you see in The Kids Are Alright, as he's walking down the huge staircase lined with guitars from his collection. Here's Entwistle's and John Lennon's places in England, and Lennon's estate in Palm Beach, Florida

Is that the Lennon house in England that Ringo bought ?
I know Yoko Ono has been buying property since John died as a way of business.

Ah well, I'm happy enough with my inexpensive little place on the outskirts of Perth. Just enough room for about 20 guitars, a few amps and very little talent! And maybe squeeze in a few visitors.

I'm not casting any aspersions here, Graceland seems tame compared to these castles!
