I've been busy this month. I've sold 5 guitars and 2 amps, so I guess I'm still down one guitar. I've got a handful more that I'm going to sell when things calm down a bit. Anyway, on to the new fun. I pickup up a Custom Shop Nocaster (authenticated by Fender Custom Shop) and Thinline Thin skin Tele in a deal with Atomic Music in Maryland. I bought a Doc Fisher Strat, which I really like, and finally '52 American Vintage with Joe Barden pickups. I'm still getting to know them, but the Fenders all play really nicely; I like the Joe Barden pickups too, I'm not sure what the controversy around them is. The Doc Fisher strat is just as nice as the tele I bought from him. I rings out, each note clearly articulated, but has plenty of spank if you dig in. He really has the secret to making an outstanding guitar down.
