I've been busy this month. I've sold 5 guitars and 2 amps, so I guess I'm still down one guitar. I've got a handful more that I'm going to sell when things calm down a bit.

Anyway, on to the new fun. I pickup up a Custom Shop Nocaster (authenticated by Fender Custom Shop) and Thinline Thin skin Tele in a deal with Atomic Music in Maryland. I bought a Doc Fisher Strat, which I really like, and finally '52 American Vintage with Joe Barden pickups. I'm still getting to know them, but the Fenders all play really nicely; I like the Joe Barden pickups too, I'm not sure what the controversy around them is.

The Doc Fisher strat is just as nice as the tele I bought from him. I rings out, each note clearly articulated, but has plenty of spank if you dig in. He really has the secret to making an outstanding guitar down.

The story behind it is a little sketchy, but it sounds like a jealous girlfriend was involved. Fortunately, it doesn't affect any place you touch.
