I’ve had this very nice Teye Super Coyote for 5 years now. Never bonded with it. The neck was strange, never felt comfortable with it. The Lollar Imperials were not potted and just weren’t my cup of tea. Had it off and on Reverb for 2 years and finally sold it. This beautiful Gretsch Duo Jet doublecut 62 vintage select took its place. I played it all afternoon and fell 2D3C65B7-D32E-4FBF-8D23-5EB411AD723B.jpeg 05ACF440-E409-47F6-AE03-BE067FF8CBC3.jpeg 194B38D8-49A4-49D5-BE18-CB6BB92EA9B1.jpeg in love. I’ve never played with TV Jones classics before. They sound amazing. Took about 5 minutes to tweak the action and the fit and finish is amazing. Got a great price from Chicago Music Exchange so it was a trade off. I have absolutely no regrets!

    Way cool.

I guess we both had our itch for Gretsch scratched because yesterday I bought one too.

That Teye reminds me of those Victorian ladies who had ribs removed to fit a tighter corset for that 19'' waist look.

That Super Coyote has a lot going on there... the Gretsch was a good move.
