I love mine, I have the same colour. Really like the pickups too, lots of old school twang tones available. Enjoy!

I know there's been lots of discussion about the neck shape 60's C vs the 50's Baja or the Fender modern C but I really like it. It reminds a lot of my Eastman jazz box neck. Other than going up to maybe 11's I believe I found my all purpose guitar ! After all there are many who use Tele's for everything !

And yes the color is way cool as well !

    Looks great.
Reminds me I nearly got one of these a couple of times but the ones I tried had rosewood that was too light or a little too red.
I think that and most colour schemes for Tele need a deep dark rosewood to pull it off stylishly.
Is yours the guitar in the picture and is the rosewood that dark? If so, nice find!

Yep that's the exact guitar pictured, and yes the rosewood is quite nice ! You could pay more for a Tele, but I feel I didn't need to once I found this one.

I wonder how the neck compares to the 64 AV Tele?

    Super nice guitar for sure.

Those are great-looking and great-sounding guitars, but the necks are too small for my tastes. Definitely smaller - flatter on the back, with less shoulder - than the '64 RI.

Good info, I have the '65 AV Strat and according to a few those are similar to the '64 AV Tele necks. If the Baja had the same neck as the '64 I might consider one because that's one sweet looking guitar.

Hard to beat any of the Bajas and you've got a nice one there...

Love that sonic blue, it's a Chris Fleming model like the Baja 50s I think, enjoy it! ;)

Necks will vary a LOT from 64 reissue to 64 reissue and 60s baja to 60s baja. No two will be the same thickness.

I have owned three 50s Bajas and they were all different thicknesses, shapes AND shades!

    Same line of guitars.

These are handmade (basically) at the end of the day.

There's are 60s baja with a chinky neck on it out there. Not super chunky, but as chunky or more so than 64 reissues out there. Just gotta find a few and check em out.
