can i join the club now? heh. so i turn 40 on oct 17th. my mom was going to replace a

ipad i broke. ( bad leg gave out, as i fell it hit the floor.. poof black screen death..

still working in the back ground tho.. paper weight now..) anyhow, the new ipads cam out

on the 17ths i should say were aounced.. but were not released fror another week etc..

after some talking she thought a guitar would be better, and wont be out dated.. i

agree.. so i spent the last few weeks trying to figure out what id like...
so i came down to 3 guitars.. Taylor GS MINI, Epi Hollow body special edition sorendo i

think, and a fender FSR tele.. i figured id let my mom choose.. so i email her the 3

guitars id be happy with whatever. its a gift from my mom who is getting up their in

age.. so anyhow she picked the fender. i was sorta surprised. figured she go with the

    epi. laughs..

i took advantage of the 15% MF had.. and through in a Digi tech ambient reverb pedal. so

i got a guitar and a nice reverb for 79.00. i made out like a bandit.

the fender fsr tele is great.. it feels lighter than my SG which strang since iv read this model is heavy from lots of threads on here.. anyhow i dig this tele.. i know its the honey moon phase.. will gett o know her in the morning.. ups just dropped her off a little while ago..
i can say the fender FSR tele is a good quality axe.

i dunno what mods i will do if any.. will have to get to know her over the next few weeks before i decide if i need new pups to mesh with my gear. if so ill probably look into some keystones. o yeah, i need to take some sand paper to the neck.. whatever finish they use. its not very slippery. :p no big deal, steal wool or 600 grit sand paper will do. thats all i can say for now, till morning when i plug into my pedals and start to focus. rock on.

here is to a good honey moon. ..... ill get pictures in the morning, or it didnt happen. :p

Congrats. You've been a member for a long time without a Tele, right?

Reverse plate is where they flip it around and put the switch at the bottom and the volume control is closer to your hand.
