Wow, those are really cool. Back in '06 or '07 I had the dark purple MIM Cray hardtail. It was great.. It was the perfect strat for a tele player, if that makes sense. It's stiffer without the trem, but still has string through and ferrules. I love the silver, great looking guitar. I never figured out what pickups they ship with, but it sounded great. I remember the bridge being flat poles, while the neck and middle were staggered. I only sold it (along with many other guitars/amps) to help with the down-payment of my first home purchase.

I don't think they are particularly common for some reason. I really like it.

The Robert Cray and the Jimmy Vaughn models do not get enough love. Both are killer but you never see them around.

Yeah, they're still coming with that pickup set. Mine sounds and plays great.

The RC Strat has a really nice neck.

It does, but it's not a big fat neck at all. It's a very comfortable early 60s profile.

Ever since I saw Cray's Inca Silver Strat, I've wanted one.
I got a Harley Benton Silver Strat, but it's got a Brown Tort guard and Deneb-Tone pickups.

I think Robert Cray is cool.
I also think hard tale strats are cool.

So I would love a rc strat myself one day.

A good Hardtail strat will ruin you on every other strat
