Well new to me. 2003-4 Sage Green Metallic, bought used off the Guitar Center website, a great source for affordable used guitars. This one came with a hard shell case and a Seymour Duncan Broadcaster set. All shielded internally. Screw down input cup. The original maple neck is nice and subtlety darkened from age, but went for a 50s vibe and used my 2012 Mexican Nashville neck and a 3 saddle bridge. Parchment 5hole guard. Good sounding Tele if a little heavy, probably 8.5lbs… That’s the DeNashville on the right with a 60s neck..

I'm a maple guy but I think the darker board might work a bit better. Can't go wrong with either through, that's a great colour.

Thanks all! My name being Dan Green, I always wanted a green Tele! I really like Sherwood green too. There was an American special a couple years back with a rosewood board in a Sherwood but that model never did it for me. Sorry, don’t love Surf Green. This guitar will look great with the Pau Ferro board and make a nice ‘59. I already put the original all maple neck back on. Never loved this Nashville neck, I am pretty sure it needs a fret level. The original is quite large and has small frets, even smaller than the new reissue 60s neck. I thought I knew the good years of the Mexican, but this feels very substantial, like a US standard. I won’t hesitate on a MIM from mid 2000s. Hardware and pickups can be upgraded as they are on this bad girl. Sweetwater currently has a custom shop ‘59 in this color for $4400 got this for $440
