Actually got it Saturday. I joined this forum originally to gain info about doing a parts caster job on my affinity tele. But I ended getting rid of that and getting this instead. Copy paste of photos and brief review from another forum because I’m lazy :p but I thought y’all would appreciate this beauty the most!

My Wildwood Thinskin Nitro AVRI '55 arrived today! This thing is epic. Ash body, quite heavy for a tele at 8.15lbs. The neck is THICK. Definitely the thickest neck I've ever had, will take some adjustment, but its actually pretty comfortable. Something about being so substantial makes it easy to grab on to. Makes my LP neck feel like a wizard neck  Got a little bit of time in with it into my twin and it sounds glorious. The twisted tele pickups are fantastic. And combined with the sunface I was getting some glorious tones. I'll have the home to myself tomorrow, and should be getting back to playing with a drummer at least starting on tuesday so I'm stoked to start opening some of this **** up to where its supposed to be

Not sure if these pics capture how stunning the see through nitro finish is but its pretty amazing

Nice score! I wish this was the color the Bajas and AV '52 Teles came in. Much more authentic.

That is my favorite color combination - check my avatar photo.

One small "but" - in '55 a top hat switch tip and steel saddles were more common, that's more of a late '54!

Very cool and welcome to the forum. What model is the Les Paul burst?

That's a real beauty! Love the thin skin Nitro. Tell us about your Les Paul, love that maple flame and the burst on that one!

    Thanks guys!!

it’s a 2018 Les Paul standard. It’s absolutely amazing!!!! My third go around with an LP and by far my favorite yet. It has an asymmetrical slim taper neck with compound radius and it’s one of the most comfortable necks I’ve ever played. Bought used from Wildwood guitars earlier this year but it was damn near mint!

And it’s a real looker too

That’s a great looking Telecaster! I love that color combo, and wildwood is a great place to buy from.
