Got this one last week. Had just bought a Backlund last Fall and also traded my PRS 30th anniversary SE for a lovely 20th anniversary Custom 22. Didn't have any plans nor extra money to buy another anytime soon. But I couldn't pass it up at the price; the seller had misidentified it as something else and listed it rather cheap, with fitted case. Been awhile since I bought a shredder - it's obviously pretty metal-oriented and I might swap out the quad rails eventually (I have a set of customshop Fuglybuckers waiting for a good home). Will give the stock pickups a chance though. They're hotter than my other pickups, even so they might grow on me. Push-pull pots split them, and one good feature is they're fully humbucking even when split. I haven't had the free time on a sunny day to shoot pics of my own; these are from the builder's website. Zerberus Chimaira. Korina body, thick maple top, 25½" scale, set neck with ebony fretboard and long tenon neck joint. Unusual back carve for easy upper-fret access.
