NGD x2 ~ Woo Hoo!

    I did find one aspect of the guitars that I felt needed tending to.

    Very dry fretboards. The 6119 readily absorbed quite a bit of fretboard oil, but now is rich and supple and the surface looks (dark) and feels great.

    5622 will get a fretboard oil treatment when the new strings need replacing.

    I live in a very dry environment, and try to treat my rosewood boards to fretboard oil a couple of times a year.

    Beautiful looking guitars. Love those colors too, classy.
    I've only owned one Gretsch, a bobtail steel resonator. It's finish was immaculate too. Hand a really nice neck on it with a thin finish. Those pics make me want another.
