Looks great congrats!!!
Congratulations. The roadworn's aging does look cool now, I must admit.
Congrats on your new Tele, great color.
I love mine!!
Looks awesome and all business, Congrats!
Congrats on your Tele. I have a 50s Vintera Telecaster in Fiesta Red that I absolutely love. Enjoy and have some fun!
Looks fantastic....leave that black guard!
I like tinkering too. I have boxes of pickups, bridges, different value tone caps, different value tone pots, 3 way switches, 4 way switches, 5 way switches, and on and on. I always have intentions of dialing everything in and leaving them be, but it never seems to work out that way.
Love it! Personally I'd prefer a creme or white pickguard, but either way, that's a beautiful Telecaster.
I can relate...I totally baby my guitar and fear scratches. But not with the road worn (I have a purple metallic one); it's almost a relief. Your guitar looks really, really nice! Congrats on getting a beauty and a great deal....Cheers!
Thanks all for the kind comments!
Really really happy with the guitar, and have started to dial in some nice Tele tones on my Helix.
A few of you were mentioning you thought it would look better with a white guard... well - I've got a parchment one, and just started a new thread on the black vs parchment guard debate, with a couple of pics over here:
I have the exact same Tele as you except Blonde. I had a 4 way Emerson switch put in with Porter 9Ts. This Tele is a beast. Plays amazing, feels amazing and sounds soooooo dope!!! Congats on yours. She looks amazing.
