So far I dig it. Sounds great(as great as it can with my limited skills). It came missing the pickup selector knob. Strings are set up too high. Fret ends feel nice. Love the neck. Really been wanting a Tele again, and this is just what I wanted.

Probably just higher than I’m familiar with. If I had bigger fingers it would be perfect.

Can’t get enough of the way this guitar sounds. Definitely inspires me to play. After more playing, I am pretty certain this action is higher than most would prefer. Also, I’ll tune it and when I play an E on the 7th fret with the B and E string ringing, the open strings are out of tune. I’ve stretched the strings off and on for the past hour and it still won’t hold tune for even a few chords. Not pressing down hard on strings and I’m playing light. Not sure if something is wrong with the guitar

Try throwing on a fresh set of strings. Nice guitar. I like that color too.

Great looking guitar! I just ordered one of these because no stores have them. Is the neck glossy/sticky?

I have the same model and I’ve had 2 - one had cosmetic damage in shipping.

The components and general build on these are awesome but I found setup lacking for the price we pay for them. Sharp fret edged, saddles not set great, pickups too low (maybe it’s purposeful because they’re hot)

Inspect the nut and nut slots. I know for a fact that’s what’s causing issues on my new one (nut is misaligned, slots too tight causing tuning issues without a little lubricant).

For the tuning does that happen anywhere else on the neck? Have you checked neck relief and intonation?

Congrats man. I played one of those a few weeks back and was very impressed with this model. I'm not overly enthusiastic about some of the more expensive ones with all the bells etc. But I do like a well made guitar especially modeled after the 50's era, and at this price point I would definitely take it over the Pro or the Performer...or whatever they're called.

The one I played was Fiesta Red but I'd prefer yours or the BSB. Enjoy man

Congrats. I bought the butterscotch blonde one a couple of weeks ago. Stick with it on set-up - lower the saddles and I'd recommend 10's on it... I thought mine was just to sloppy with the 9's that Fender put on them. I know you say you're playing with a light touch, but heavier strings are always going to help with intonation (IMO).

HNGD! Good score. It looks great. Have it set up and enjoy!
