    It is... awesome.

a 1/4 turn of the truss rod and a few tweaks of the saddles and it plays so freakin smooth.

the neck is amazing. Frets are perfect. I could probably lower the action some more without any issues but I like it at 1/16” across the board. As it is, I can play pretty heavy on the strings without any issues. My MIM Tele and USA Strat are not this clean.

I wasn’t sure about the Nocaster pickups. Never used Alnico 3 before. They are amazing. The neck is clear and articulate and the bridge just POPs when switching to it. It’s almost like having a humbucker in the bridge but with better sound :). I have the neck closer to the strings than the bridge and it just sounds perfect to me. The bridge really kicks ass with some overdrive. I don’t play completely clean, ever really. And the bridge just drives the amp nice when it’s setup to play more clean on the neck.

    I’m rambling but I also had a few :)

    Anyway.... it’s freakin sweet.

I’m thinking I might swap out the pick guard for a black 3-ply at some point but other than that... there’s nothing to change. My modded MIM is gonna get lonely.

Also, I’m usually one that says you can get just as good of a guitar from Mexico or whatever, and you can..... BUT there’s little things that you don’t think about. Like, the edges of the USA Tele body are beveled just a bit and it makes it more comfy. The neck is just ... buttah. Ok I’m done.

Totally my thang, but I’d ditch the tortoise shell, put a white guard on that monster and raise the roof a time or two before my friends showed up.

Not really an AmPro then is it? Two of the main changes from the predecessor were frets and pups, and there different on this model. Looks a great guitar though.

I suppose not! But it has the American Pro sticker on it. Haha. It’s a Sweetwater exclusive setup. I guess the bridge and the Deep C are the things it take from the pro line.

I like jumbo and med-jumbo more than the narrow tall. And the VMod pickups don’t do it for me. So it’s a win win in my book! I guess it more of a mod-shop guitar :)

I’m with you. But I was thinking a black pick guard!
