UPS dropped off my new Fender USA Nitro-Satin Strat last night. It came set up well. Includes American Standard pickups, vintage tremolo and no-load tone pot. I had been gassing for some Strat quack and couldn't be more thrilled with this USA "budget" model. image-94463760.jpg

The ONLY reason i dont own at least one of these is purely a silly cosmetic one... i HATE that headstock haha.

Solid, respectable guitars done right, enjoy yours!

Thanks! It has jumbo frets (and the jumbo 70's headstock :))

I have shoulder issues and this is a very comfortable guitar to play.

So I picked up a USA Nitro satin P bass a couple of weeks ago from guitar center, almost identical to the OPs strat (except a bass). Really dig the finish on the pbass and the neck plays great and is a nice thick chunky piece of wood. I have to say I'm not a big strat player, but I'm quite tempted to pick up one of these strats just so I can have a killer matching fender guitar and bass. Man if only they sold a tele version in this series, they'd have me at "Fender USA Honeyburst Nitro Satin Tele"! Sigh... I'm gasing over a guitar that unfortunately doesn't even exist!

Congratulations on the bass!

I'm still loving my Nitro Satin Strat. I hear you on the "Nitro Satin Tele". That would be sweet!

Yeah, a tele version in this series would be really awesome. I am curious to play the strat though. I'll have to pick one up and play it next time I'm by my local guitar center.
