This one came home with me today...
That's not a tele
Now that you say it...
Nice...good luck with it.
I gotta say, my three favorite Les Paul style guitars were a Tokai Love Rock (friend's), Hagstrom Super Seude (friend's) and a Yamaha SBG-500 (mine). I've never found an Epi or Gibson LP that I've been able to bond with.
That's a nice Tokai you have there - congrats!
I've been fortunate enough to play a couple of these and they are IMHO really nice guitars.
Perfect Japanese craftsmanship and tone for days. As far as I'm concerned it beats the original in just about every aspect, not to forget pricewise. Really happy with this.
Shiny pickups, I tell you!
Tokai makes good quality instruments for sure sometimes even besting the ones they copy! Enjoy it!
Congrats, great guitar that is!
I couldn't agree more (based on first hand experience)
Me n the OP discussed this in another thread. I own a 60th Annie R9 and a Tokai a couple of models up from this. My Tokai is just under half the price of the R9. It's very, very close.
IMO you won't find a Gibson Les Paul, under 60 years old, made outside the Custom Shop that's better than the one in the OP.
