One week before the pandemic I had

Strat (of 14 years), Yamaha A3r, Fender Mustang Bass.

Now I'm a two Tele man. This is after 20+ years of completely avoiding teles for literally no reason!

Mind you, a bound Strat is even better!

I had a Strat for 12 years. Then at the start of Covid I ordered a Performer Tele,, which I sent right back. Then I tried to buy a 1980s Tele off Reverb, that fell through. Then I tried to buy a Wildwood Tele (someone else got to it first). So, I got a Professional Telecaster and all is well.

Very nice team! I'll admit the binding was just coincidental in both purchases but I'm happy with it. The Belly cut and arm contour on the RK is definitely the two things I wish every Tele stole from Strats.

My wife bought me my first Thinline for my 60th birthday 2 yrs ago...actually my first and only actual Fender, and it’s a fantastic guitar. I showed her a pic of a Squier, she surprised me with the Fender...she still loves me after 30 yrs, it seems :)

Sounds like you already had the real keeper, and she got you a second!

Thanks, yeah, she is.... and still puts up with me after 30 years, guitars and all...have to use the Speaker Soak attenuator when she’s home, but that’s fine by me

It was the same for me as well, until 2 weeks ago, I got my first tele. I can't believe how much I was missing out. Now it's time to make up for lost time....

Is that the Kotzen Telecaster in that picture? Love the neck on that one.

    Love thinlines, too; congrats.
