My new strat came in from Wildwood. At 7.2 pounds it seems freakishly light for a strat. I don't think I've ever had a strat this light. Seems almost like a toy. I know some might not think thats overly light but I wouldn't want it to be any lighter.

    Hell Yeah, congrats.

I got over them sending me a skinny neck AV '56 and have just been enjoying the living heck out of it, in the early running for my favorite strat out of the many I've owned/played.

Neck thickness on mine is .910 at the first fret to just a hair over an inch at the 12th. It was important to me to get some chunk on the neck.

Oh, I remember, after I got mine I was looking at that guitar on Wildwood thinking "why did I get such a skinny neck?"
