Great looking Telecaster! I love it! Like to hear what you think of it’s tone/sound. I’ve been really trying not to buy one of these but I’m constantly reminded and the YouTube demos are making it difficult ;).There’s just something about that particular Telecaster that keeps drawing me to it. Congratulations and Happy Halloween.

    Cheers,

    Rick

    Kool kool looking guitar.........

But this type of bridge doesn't function the way I think it should.

The through hole location and the barrel saddle break point are just too close together. You're constrained from raising the saddle much at all. A gifted guitarsmith can work some of the inherent stiffness out of individual guitars I know, but why must we start mostly behind the 8 ball?

Fender, fix this bridge. Move the body through holes down the body 1/4 inches. Likewise the holes through the plate. Give the string some breathing room between the place where it exits the body, to where the big E string breaks over the saddle.

    Or stop calling them Telecasters.

Some may figure, this is just esoterica. Personally, I don't think so. I'm not saying 50% of all potential sales are lost, but I think some people will balk. Stop procrastinating and just fix this issue, FMIC.

The description sounds all wrong and yet it somehow looks good.

Damn, that's a cool axe! Chet Atkins meets fender Tele, I would say. Gotta love the pumpkin-caster.

VERY nice! That is a beautiful Telecaster.

Filtertrons are super versatile pickups; they can twang, sparkle, and growl.

I have TVJs in a few guitars, including this Tele-shaped beast I built.

Brilliant! I mean, sorry it didn't work out for you, but as it turns out, Mrs. 3T is a giant broncos fan - we actually met when we both worked in Denver.

I hadn't thought of that angle, but now I'm thinking I could pretty much sell her on this guitar, as being a natural expression of being a Broncos fan. Thanks, G-52! Plus, I've been wanting to try those pickups. I'm not going to go rush out and buy one today, but it's on the list. For the right opportunity.
