Got a friend who wanted a Mosrite but couldn't even scratch up the $$ for an Eastwood copy let alone the real deal, so I put this "tribute" together for him. Body's one of those warehouse buyouts from GFS ($20 with missing and incomplete routs and a gloss black urethane finish ten feet thick and mucho scratches & dings), neck's a GFS "blem," Dream 90 p/us and a series/parallel pop-up switch on the tone control. Came out pretty good if you ask me, whatcha think??

Close enough for surf. Needs a whammy, though.

Absolutely correct--Would've stuck one of the GFS units on there but that carve on the front of the body just plain didn't leave enough room.

Looks great. Sometimes you get lucky with GFS, sometimes you don't.

Wow, that's very sweet! I saw my first vintage one just a few years ago and serious GAS kicked in. Nice build!
