@FenderGuy53 , @brookdalebill , @tah1962 , @John C , @howardlo thank you very much!!!
Beautiful. Those A5 pickups (especially the neck) are really cool.
I think it looks great as is. If you change the pickguard to black, that's all right but please promise us you won't repaint that blonde body. That's just one of the nicest of that type/year I have seen.
Its great when you go fishing and you land a Whopper. Well done Sir!
A great score congratulations. I like how your neck pup is measuring nice and healthy on the high end of the range for MV's.
The MV's pups have alnico 3 magnets however, not alnico 5.
Interesting, that honey blonde finish is absolutely identical to my new Nashville Tele white blonde finish. Guess they rename the finishes now and then?
Yes, this is weird.
Claudio's guitar is probably more yellow than your guitar.
Meanwhile I have four of the previous style of Deluxe Nashville Tele in what they called "Honey Blonde" and none of my four are in a color as pretty as either of the guitars you guys have.
Great going. Pretty thing! That's a great example of a unique and special instrument. Just plain cool.
play it until it blisters your paint then, play it some! nice pretty .
@Crobbins , @Greggorios , @ping-ping-clicka , @TeleTown Thank you!
@boris bubbanov no problem, I will NOT change pickguard, finish, pickups... I prefer look for and keep every guitar in its originality (as far as possible).
@Tele Jr thank you. Correct, AlNiCo 3, not 5
@Nashville-tele-19 thank you! Post please a pic of yours!
Awesome. I just got one exactly like this yesterday via GC. I was worried that the original blonde with “white” was really white but it is definitely more “yellowed white” as you say. The bridge pup has white-ish wrapping so I’m hoping it’s all original. I’m going to open her up tomorrow and take a look under the hood. Mine is 9.3lbs - is that normal?
(You made me go look up fulminant you scurvy dog)
Honestly, one of my favorite color schemes.
Beautiful guitar!! congrats! and thanks for doumenting!
Thank you and compliment for your acquisition! Put your pics please on https://www.tdpri.com/threads/8502-american-ash-telecaster-club.181982/page-68 if you wish!
Mine's weight is 3.9 kilograms, (8,59 lbs more or less) so it is normal!
@RodeoTex Thank you! Yes, the GAS is right around the corner!!!
@dreamingtele Thank you!
Love the finish. Congrats!
