This is a tele I bought today for $25! came with the amp. I'm trying to decide what to do, spruce it up or relic it. The head stock seems a bit off, a few dings in the finish (why I'm considering relicing) and a humbucker instead of the lipstick pup that came among other stuff sitting extra with it. Also came with a little Peavey Rage 12 watt that was DIRTY. After cleaning it up it looks better and sounds alright. The case didn't come with it, but I bought that elsewhere today for $30! $55 worth of happiness.

Cool score, I'd set it up to play nice, then play it till it relics itself.

Is it a PRS body and a Fender neck? I'm confused....... Nothing new I know but strange. Either way $25 is a great score, congrats!

No, no PRS here unfortunately. That paper was in the case I bought (seperately) And what I WISH I could've got. It's a tele from a kit that someone built. The amp cleaned up fairly nicely, but still smells a bit. Haha. I'm happy though.

Is it a Fender neck or did he just put a decal on there? And if it is a fake decal, why put the small writing under Telecaster, and what does it say? Again, just wondering.

Tis' a decal. Under the logo the small writing I believe is the patent #. Not sure why, but oh well. It was said by someone else that it was a Saga kit. I don't personally know.

Does the amp work? I'll give you $10 for it. I had one exactly like that when I was a kid. My first amp.

I could consider that offer for the amp. I probably won't use it, it's just a backup atm. But I left it at another house so wouldn't have it for a while. It cleaned up well, but smells odd, (cat pee maybe?) It is horrendous that these went through that. I'm very glad I save them from neglectful owner.
