Just got this baby today, a Supro Hampton. Wow, this thing is a tone machine! It plays incredibly well, sounds amazing in all five pickup positions, clean and dirty, and it just smokes! Looks pretty great with a Day of the Dead strap, too.

Wow. I thought Supro only made amps! Very cool.

A dealer on Reverb, XYZ Guitars, was selling them direct from Supro for mid-$700's, so I thought I'd take a chance, and I'm glad I did.

I love the look of those things. I got to play a few of the late 50's or early 60's Supros when I went to Carter Vintage last time I was in Nashville and they all had the fattest necks on them. I've been meaning to try out some of the newer models.

How are you liking the gold foils? I have one in the neck of one of my builds and I'm loving it. Cheers man. Congrats on the new guitar.

I have the Westbury, which is the same but two pickups. I removed the volume pot and installed a concentric stacked pot in the tone knob location. That volume knob was very much in the way for me. Much better now.

I got mine when they were having a blowout on them. I hate to tell you how much I paid

Full price was $849, and I got mine for 10% off, fwiw. I agree that it's a lot of guitar for that price. Really fun to play, and the pickups are really good sounding.

The neck on this one isn't real fat at all. It's super comfortable without being too much, or too little, of anything.

I really like the gold foil pickups. And I especially like having three of them, because you get a Strat-like quack in positions 2 & 4, which I love.

Right now, Sam Ash has black Westbury for $329 shipped and black Hampton for $399 shipped. So tempted, but I hate buying guitars without playing them first. They have the flametop Westbury for $399 and one of the single pickup guitars for $299.

The cool factor here is off the charts. Bonus points for the strap! And a lefty to boot. Rock on, my friend.
