Just got this baby used (obviously) and I am entirely impressed!! Never even knew these existed. It’s like new and looks like an ‘05 I think. Plays beautiful and sounds nice and “woody”. Though the Duncan Designed pickups do sound a bit bass heavy and “boomy” on the clean channel, had to turn my bass knob to about 9:00 on my amp. But that’s Ok, as I have some Pearly Gates I can put in this beauty. Color me smitten!!!! 01F724FD-3FBB-4D71-880B-536FCC36D78D.jpeg EA71BAD5-6E7C-48AE-9115-ABBDDE70F64B.jpeg 86734E49-BBB0-45FC-82DA-12876F7037A1.jpeg 2CA55A92-DD27-4E5D-8946-EFA396877862.jpeg 10300062-AD75-42A6-ACF3-4515DD220621.jpeg

The Fender version of these was the basis for the Robben Ford model. That's a pretty good pedigree.

Wow Andy... that's a beauty! And a RARE find. You did very well indeed.

Doesn't matter what pickups or electronics are in it - you can get that squared away to your exacting desires!

Felicitations to you, sir! Smitten I'm sure.

2 Cool - I'm not sure if I've seen one before but love the color.

I always associate this guitar with Robbin Ford. Congrats.

And... beautiful older pup too! Looks so much like my last boy, who was a cross between a Golden Retriever and a Yellow lab.

Thanks DHart! I read they are tough to come by and my local Guitar Center had this one and a black one. I probably would have liked the black one looks wise, but it had a crack in the neck, so no way I was going with that one.

Oh... I think you did better with this one vs. a black one! :)

Awww. Our pups are family! That’s Earl. He is an older fella and still happy and active as can be. He’s a Golden and Great Pyrenees mix.

I haven't seen those in awhile. I remember the inlay being super distinctive for squire at the time.
    Very nice, congrats!
