I had developed a serious case of GAS over the Silver Sky (in spite of the funny headstock shape) and I'm happy to have taken possession. Got a great deal from Melody Music Shop in Indiana. The boss said OK and that's all I needed!

I really like it, tons of sustain, really great fretwork, silky neck that's a lot like my road worn tele.

Congrats! That is a beautiful color. Honestly, I tried one and really wanted to love it, but I just didn’t. It felt weird to me - it didn’t really feel like a Strat or a PRS. It sounded great and there was nothing wrong with it other than it just didn’t strike a chord with me.

    Again, contrats and enjoy!

Congrats!!! I've been super interested in those recently. I haven't gotten the chance to hold one yet though. How's the shape of the neck feel? I've heard great things about it being super comfortable up and down the neck.

That is a beauty. I actually love the headstock, LOL.

I am a little unfamiliar with PRS products so had to look it up. Initially I thought you had a typo in the subject (Dodgem) because I have heard of 'Dodger Blue' but never 'Dodgem Blue'. Sure enough, that is the proper spelling! Live and learn!

    Congrats, I love that guitar.

Congratulations! That is a great color and a great guitar. I have my eye on a Tungsten/rosewood model at my local shop. One of the best feeling guitars I have ever played. I’d own it if it weren’t for that pesky wife and kid... Enjoy, amigo!

That looks cool! Have you seen any of the demos and reviews online? How does it compare?

Nice. I actually like those better than strats. I think it’s the 3 to each side headstock. I don’t know why. Just a personal preference.

    Nice one! Congrats!

They are really nice, and their own thing. Not a Strat or a PRS. Very comfortable and great workmanship.

    Thanks for all the responses!
Well, if everyone liked the same things, it'd be a boring ol' world. I feel the same way about most Gibsons I've tried. Honestly, I've never played a PRS except for my SS. I'm sure that'll change in a few months when my wife lets me out of the house again!

The shape is very similar to my 50s Vintera Tele. The neck finish is very smooth but not glossy at all, like a new baseball bat.

If it was Dodger Blue, I'd have gotten Orion Green! Seriously though, it's a beautiful color, pictures don't really capture it.

    Awesome!

One of those is on my short list of a “like to have”

I’ve only tried the rosewood models though

I don’t even like prs necks but that one seems fine

My kids are gone and my wife has shown an interest in learning the guitar so I'm enjoying that!
