Pretty interesting guitar. Not the best reviews but what a lovely guitar to play. Swapped and happy. Lovely neck especially. IMG-20200224-WA0008.jpg IMG-20200224-WA0010.jpg IMG-20200224-WA0010.jpg

Always wanted one of those. Many, many years ago: the first lesson I ever took, my teacher, who became a good friend, played one through a Twin Reverb. It sounded so sweet... Lucky you, that one is pretty.

I have the Squier version of this which comes with the new WRHBs. I had Telenator do the mod on them so they are closer to real WRHBs....

    Nice guitar, congrats!

Dont know if they are a mixed bag but there isn't a great deal of love for them. I swayed back and forth about letting my gordon smith go but pleased with it. Tiny hairline in lacquer at neck pocket bit only about 4 mm. Really pretty guitar

I was looking into that one but ended up with a michael Kelly tele with HBs. Have always been curious about the shiflett.

Fender has gone all in on the parallelogram F tuners for models associated with the 1970s. On the face of it, I'd rather have (1st) kluson style or (2nd) some kind of modern two-pin tuning machine. But is there any practical reason to avoid these tuners?

Once I have something that works I'm happy to stick with it. No need to future-proof against the need to mod or upgrade. Asking because I've been looking at necks on stratosphere.

    Thanks!

First time Truss rod was broke, Second time neck pup was a dud. No third time, he gave up on it.

What was up with the neck pickup? Maybe just unlucky but that always seems to be the one I get issues with on a few electrics I have had
