    A couple weeks back, actually.
I picked this up at the same flea market I'd gotten a couple other guitars before. This one is a Samick IH-10/MR (which I guess means metallic red). It's in decent shape, needs a pickup switch knob and a bolt to adjust the neck pickup. A nick on the headstock and a few body dings.
    $25. Didn't bother haggling.

I am thinking about some P-90's in humbucker size - Alchemist 90's seem to fit the bill and getting decent reviews (I don't own anything with a P90-type pickup). Maybe just two volume knobs so I can do the toggle-switch-stutter thing, not sure I'd miss a tone control.

I have no idea what's in those things! Lots of routing involved?

Man $25 was a steal! It looks great as is and Humbucker sized P-90s sounds like a perfect upgrade to me. I wouldn't do the trem thing myself, but if you have to do it think about a Bigsby.

Yeah, I'm looking at Bigsbys and their licensed and unlicensed knockoffs. There are a confusing number of different models available. This is a thin semi hollow with a strap pin at the end.

Really thinking about these Alchemist 90 pickups, the price is right...

The existing pickups are fine, but I don't have any P90-ish guitars, might be fun.

A couple of the tuners are a little questionable, and I'll probably have a non-stick nut put in some time.

Got a pair of Seymour Duncan P-Rails on Reverb for a great price, maybe I'll get some Triple Shot rings to stick 'em in and a couple of push-push pots for series/parallel and phase between the neck and bridge...

The triple shot rings do P90 & Rail together in series & parallel HB mode or each separate SC mode.

Yeah, that should save me from going nuts with the mini toggle switches like I did with my O'Hagan back in '85 or so.
