Nice work! One of the best Teles I ever owned was a Roadworn--wish I still had it.

Out of curiosity, how many pieces is the body, did you take note of that?

How is the neck thickness? I've tried only one RW and it had a surprisingly thin neck, very much like the 60s thin C neck.

That looks like an outstanding job.
When the Road Worns first came out I played one and thought it was fantastic. I left without buying it and it was gone when I returned so I forgot about it. If I ever found and early version I might be tempted to buy it even though I’ve sworn off acquiring more instruments.

    That neck looks outstanding.

I hope somewhere you documented how you stripped and refinished the neck. It looks right.

The neck is something between medium and chunky 50s style with very slight V at the first frets and normal C at the upper frets. It's a bit thicker than on a 52RI (2009) that I used to have.

Unfortunately, I did not. I was too busy focusing on the guitar :D I should document it next time. There are couple of tricks that I use that I think are not that common...

I think it was 2 piece. Maybe 3, I didn't pay too much attention...

Man! Are you saying that's all happened in the last month? You do own a case don't you? LOL!!! Wow... I gig with mine every week for the last 2 years and don't have near that much wear on it, and I'm nitro fin'd too. Maybe your finish hasn't quite cured yet? I know it took mine nearly 2 months before it was completely cured...

No, not all by playing :) I have used _concrete floor_ as my working bench (I have been tinkering quite a lot with the guitar) and as my guitar stand :D Basically I did all those things that might happen in normal gigs etc, but no intentional bashing of the guitar. And one of the "secrets" why the dings look like that is that once the body had correct kind of dings and scratches, I polished the guitar with a very dirty buffing wheel that I use mostly for metal parts.

One of the best ageing jobs I’ve seen in a long while, by anyone. Totally believable!

PS, over my sulk provoked absence, will try not to prod the mods!
