NGD are the best days, especially in these times :). Check out my new Reverend Rick Vito Soulshaker, a superb sounding instrument not only for slide guitar but everything except metal. And of course a real beauty to my eyes.

Cool mother-of-bowling-ball finish. That's a neat alternative to an LP.

This is the first time I can recall seeing an entire top surfaced with pickguard material and I have to say I love the idea!

Not sure it then needs a pickguard too though!!

That's wild. The top material isn't my thing, but that binding is really cool.

Happy NGD. As someone else who got his hands on a Rev this week, I know that guitar must be built really well.

    That is SWEET!

Gretsch was doing this with celluloid on some of their guitars in the 50s and 60s; it was a carryover from their drum division. Same for Supro (Valco), as well as Italia and other European makers.

I got three sparkle guitars, but I’m not sure I’m man enough for the full MOTS treatment.

I do hope they’re using good quality Tone MOTS...

For the more traditional ones there are also other colours available. The quality of the guitar is perfect.

I read somewhere that the perloid top was inspired by Ringo's drumset.

I've never played a Reverend guitar. Looks wise I prefer the first version of the Rick Vito model. I like the Art Deco vibe of the first version.

That's also a cool looking guitar, and the hb - p90 combination is killer. I have them in my custom made LP jr.
