So here are a few more pics as requested.

Someone did ask me how much it weighs, it's 7lbs 6oz. Not as light as some I've seen, but its perfect for me. I tend to like anything between 7lbs and 8lbs.

Case shot with ashtray cover, looking nothing like Fiesta Red!

Showing some of the red streaks in the rosewood

Shot of the neck showing some of the figuring. It goes from headstock to heel but it very hard to photograph, looks better in the flesh.

Damn BritTwang! Congradulations! She looks amazing! Flamed neck too! Red on the Tele is one of my faves, and if I ordered a '64, that would be my choice as well!

I hope she gives you many years of pleasure.

    Beautiful!
Nice weight too! Anything under 7lbs is just for internet bragging rights!

    Stunning!!

I don't need another Tele but, if Fiesta Red was available in the U.S., I would have already bought one! LOL

Congrats and enjoy the hell out of that fine guitar!

BritTwang - 9.5s? I've never heard of those - what are the actual gauges? Do you mean light top/heavy bottom?

Wow you got lucky with that flame neck? How about a video or some sound clips?

Thanks marsh99, I'm happy so far. I feel lucky to be honest, I now have a handful of very nice guitars.

These are the actual strings I use...

    http://www.stringsdirect.co.uk/stri...d-smith-09-5-44-electric-guitar-strings-p2963

Used them for some time, pure nickel, they are basically made by D'Addario but to Paul Reid Smith's specs. I use them on everything but vary the size depending on my scale length. No affiliation with the company by the way, I just get them there because they aren't easy to come by and if I order in the morning I get them next day usually.

I want to get some recording done in general, but time is against me right now, if I can squeeze some time in over the next few days I'll try to put up a soundcloud clip or something.

Yes, I did get lucky, I bought sight unseen so it was a lottery, I did speak to the guy at guitarguitar before it was shipped and asked him to send me a nice one :D

Thanks to everyone else that commented, I'm glad you enjoyed the pics. I doubt I'll be getting anything new for quite some time so I'll have plenty of time to get some fun out of this one!

Man I've always loved that color. I had a '59 Fiesta Red Strat way back. This is my '98 Collector's Series Tele that came with a sunburst body. It was just aching for a Fiesta Red makeover, and I bought this Allparts double bound body.
