So 6 weeks and a few days after I placed my order, this finally arrived. After trying one out at the British Guitar Show in March this year, I've been completely besotted by these instruments. I've travelled to most of the major guitar stores in the Midlands, the South East and the South West of England playing various different examples, all of which have been superb.

I've finally managed to hook one of my own and it doesn't disappoint. Apart from the crappy stock strings, which I've changed, the set-up is pretty decent. The intonation was pretty close and only needed a minor adjustment, the action may be a tad low for my liking, but I'll live with it a while and see how things go before tinkering. It plays great, sounds great and looks great (my opinion!).

Here's a quick iphone shot, I'll add some more pics over the next day or so if anyone would like to see more. I've spent the last 3 hours solid playing this baby so haven't had time for lots of photos!

My Tele-related dream is to own a Fiesta Red with a white pickguard someday. Great find, man - how's the neck? I've found that Tele necks are generally hit or miss for me.

    Thanks guys :D

I like it. It's fatter than the modern C though it's by no means chunky. Despite having pretty large hands, I find the baseball bat type necks a bit much, this seems to fit pretty well. I've had a good few hours with it and no sign of any fatigue, so it's all good.

Yeah I'm 6'2 with big hands too. Baseball bat necks are just internet hype.
Glad you dig the '64 neck!

    Beautiful guitar.

I think it would look great with a mint green guard.

Lovely comments guys, thank you. I've had her growling, purring, singing and screaming. Gotta love the versatility of the Tele!

Yikes! I know that these are top-notch across the board, and I've played a couple of them in local stores, but that one is by far the best-looking one I've seen.
