Well, not exactly new. I bought it two years ago but have been playing other guitars of late.
I've forgotten how nice this guitar really is.
It has the wide/fat neck that suits me well.
    Mahogany body, no maple cap.
    Made in Indonesia.
    8.4 lbs.
I usually do a fret level on any guitar I buy (used or new) but this guitar plays so well that no fret work is needed.
I had some parts already so I changed to CTS pots and orange drop caps.
I wanted more vintage sounding pickups so I changed to some humbucker format P90s.
They are $40/pr off ebay and sound really good.
    N - 7.10k
    B - 8.08K
For inquiring minds, the pickups have genuine pre-ww2 rosewood veneer from a salvaged Rolls Royce dashboard.
Makes for a wonderful, woody tone.
For any who have not played a 245, its a poor man's Les Paul that is a just a treat.
I have a real LP too, a Gibson LPDC with P90s. The 245 gives the LPDC a run for its money.
All in all, an extremely likeable guitar.
