It's a Warmoth 24 3/4 conversion neck, 59 round back with a 1 11/16ths wide nut, 6150 stainless steel frets.
The Bootstrap Extra Crispy pickups suit the guitar very well.
VERY nice! I love pinecasters...especially with a light enough finish on them that you can still smell the wood. Which Bootstraps did you choose? I love Ryan's pickups!
Great looking guitar!
Does the short scale modify the general tone/behavior of the instrument?
I never played a Fender-style guitar with a short scale...
I have Extra Crispys in this guitar. I really like them. Well balanced, not too hot.
I prefer conversion necks in general. I've switched back and forth between 25.5 and 24 3/4 necks on the same body with several different guitars and although I hear a difference it's subtle.
That's really nice, but pinecasters should really have some old nail holes where bridles and rusty things used to be hung when the wood was on the side of a barn, amirite?
I usually steer clear of "tonewood" discussions, but I have one pinecaster, and it is super light and - - for lack of a better word - - resonant. It seems to be becoming my favorite Tele.
