Cool...How does it play? There is a lot of nostalgia for those models. Peavey ought to do a reissue.

The pickups kick major butt. I feel a little cramped up on the neck though it feels realy short. I love it it really has a sweet sound and the pickups are hot. They really sizzle all for 80 bucks and a long wait haha I'm so stoked. I'm going to put my tele in the shop now that I got another good player. I think precious (my tele) is jellous. I've heard about tele neck transplants or t-60 neck transplants to make it full scale let me know

Nice score! I've been keeping an eye out for one of these, saw a nice one in a local pawnshop a few months back, nice shape, no case, I saw the price tag at $299 and almost fainted! Of course it's the same place that thinks their used Johnson strats are worth $200.....heehee!

Love those old Peavey guitars. I owned a T-60 like when they were first released. Great guitar, played perfect right out of the box. Wish I still had.

I got one of those about 10 weeks ago, got 3 more Peavey guitars and a Peavey amp since then.
I love the variety of tones the T 15 gives you-it really can sound like many different guitars just by changing the control settings.

Great buy, too...there was one for sale on Daddy's Junky Music Online a few days ago, but it's "as is"...

That is a dead ringer for my first electric, a T-15 I got for my 16th birthday in 1986. I wish I still had it, but I loaned it to a relative, who lost it. Congratulations!

When I got my T-15 it was in terrible shape, the pickups were totally shot and rusted real bad, was unable to locate a decent priced set of super ferrites so i decided to put in a set of TOG humbucker sized P-90's, which I am glad I did because I love the sound of it now.

Really nice. I have two! Those pickups are not hot, they just fill the bill. The are in the 6-ohm range. I've got a Tele build with a Super Ferrite in the neck position going now. The bridge PU is a medium output 60's style Chandler Tele pickup. The two pickups are well matched output-wise.

Glad you enjoy yours, as these pickups are fantastic.

Compared to my 69 tele they are loud and compared to my dads gibson with pro burstbuckers its loud but I haven't played with a lot of pickups when I found this guitar I was after a blacktop jazzmaster then my friend had this in pawn and said it had p90s so I jumped then he said it was a t60 then it was a t15 then 60 again a month later when I finally drove him to the pawn shop it was the t-15 you see here. I still think the neck is too little for me but I'm used to my tele. Now I've been playing it I think there's a bad ground in the jack plug
