Came home with a Peavey Firenza Soapbar (made in USA) today - impulse buy via Craigslist. I have another Peavey guitar, and have been impressed with the quality/value.

This is no exception - beautifully made and well maintained. Seller was the second owner and switched out the knobs and switch tip to chrome - changes I would have made myself. He says it has Seymour Duncan Vintage 90's in it, and I have no reason to question that - I might check later, but I was impressed enough with the guitar to pull the trigger, regardless.

I'm stoked about the sound - classic P90 goodness. The neck is similar to other Peavey's I've held - wide, flat, but this one has a tiny bit more chunk to the neck - very comfortable.

The seller's hobby is fixing up guitars, and the setup is spot on.

Looks awesome I saw a made in USA peavey at a goodwill a couple years ago and still kick myself for not picking it up

They were good enough for Eddie to endorse

This guitar hangs perfectly with zero neck dive. I think it’s because it has the compact headstock, a long upper bout - about even with the 12th fret, and a 25 inch scale neck.

If they are Duncans, they will have a sticker on the back of each pickup.

I think the stock pickups in those were Gotohs which by all account are good sounding pickups.
