I was supposed to get my Sonic Esquire from Sweetwater today. To my surprise, when I opened it was a Sonic Strat instead. What a bummer. First time I ever had an issue with Sweetwater. The boys in shipping must have been going a little too fast. I called them and they apologized and said I should get my Esquire next week. I wasn't mad. Adam is a great sales rep, even though I don't buy any high ticket items. 🙁

I'll PM you the correct address for sending that strat.

I didn't really check it out too much, because I just wanted to get it boxed pack up so I could get it to Fedex. I will say this, it was really light. There was no fret sprouting, but it was a maple neck. I have had that issue with a few Squiers that had rosewood necks. Thought about keeping it for minute, but I am on a bit of double secret probation lately because of the spending spree I on went on a little while ago. :)

Adam Vaughn?

He's your sales guy?
They told me he was no longer with Sweetwater!

Or maybe it's a different Adam.

Good to know.
My new guy is named Moses.
He's very knowledgeable about
studio gear from working in LA studios.
There’s a biblical theme developing at Sweetwater! They need to appoint an elderly gent called Nick to balance things up a bit.
Still, the fact that they’re sorting it is testament to the fact that they’re doing things by the book.
