Just picked up this Am Tele yesterday from GC. I mentioned that the 4th of July sale should include higher priced used guitars, and if it did, I would buy the Am Tele hanging where customers couldn't reach it (the 93 was damn near perfect condition, plus it had Fender locking tuners). My ploy

It's always nice if you find a nice used instrument. Many, many years ago I scored a near mint condition, blonde American Ash 8502 Tele. My favorite used find of all time.
