It’s taken nearly a year but my transatlantic Custom-built g-bender Tele is now on its way! She’s a beauty - can’t wait to get twanging on her.

    Meet the Nellycaster!

I have sworn off getting any more burst finish guitars, but that one right there would make me take a long hard look at relenting !

That is stunning. Would love to see/hear more of it. I've never played a bender guitar. What's the benefit of the G bender over the B bender?

I think G-bender or B-Bender is a matter of personal taste.
If you listen to Marty Stuart, you'll hear a B-bender; if you listen to Brad paisley, you'll hear a G-bender.;)

Thanks! It just different flavour of benders. The b-bender is great for traditional pedal steel type tones but I went for a g-bender cos I live out of the triads on the d-g-b strings and it lets me make some cool chord movements using all three strings.

I can bend the d and b with my fingers, but not the g because obviously the fingers either side get in the way. So this just lets me bend between chords in a - hopefully - musical way!
