I got my CC Deluxe in today and got to play with it for a little while. It is exactly what I was hoping for so far. It is a lot more subtle than the digital delay I just sold and also a little darker. The "bright" switch adds a little more clarity to the wet signal but without pushing it into a harsh sound. The mod/chorus switch works well once you get the "mix" setting dialed in. You can go from crazy warbles to just a bit more depth. One thing I have noticed that others have pointed out is that you really do have to turn the mix up pretty high before you can hear the delays. I wouldn't call it a dislike but it is different. I can see where it would be an advantage though when lightly picking single notes. With the mix low and regen set fairly high it really fills in those spaces. Add in the tap tempo and mod pots on the outside along with the ability to use an external switch or expression pedal and in my book....it's a winner!
