I guess I am now a member of the Muddy Tele club.
I've always been a Muddy fan, and I overpaid for this, but it is in excellent condition - no scratches or dings, frets good, etc, and I named my kid after Muddy Waters, so I just had to do it.
I will say it is a lot heavier than my 64 AV tele...

Naming your kid after Muddy Waters is one of the coolest things I have ever heard.

Do did you go with McKinley or Muddy?

Same to me: Muddy IS the electric blues in my book.

The brass bridge looks like a 80ies upgrade and not a good one.

I think the brass saddles are bound to function and sound better.

But yeah, I might have to play mine "original" to Muddy's, if I were so lucky to land one.

I did see a precious few in stores - but kept telling myself I might grab one cheaper, later on. Wrong, Bubbanov - I messed up.
