Let's do the photos first, shall we? :D

    IMG_4358.jpg IMG_4363.jpg IMG_4359.jpg IMG_4360.jpg IMG_4361.jpg IMG_4362.jpg

Neck: Allparts TMO-FAT baseball bat neck, one-piece maple
Body: MJT solid 2-piece ash in relic blonde (3lbs 14oz)
Pickups: Lindy Fralin Overwound Telecaster set
    Tuners: Kluson vintage-style
    Nut: TUSQ XL
    Bridge: Wilkinson compensated
Pickguard: Bill Asher solid celluloid tortoiseshell
Control Plate: Rock Rabbit aluminium with slanted selector switch slot
    Knobs: machined aluminium from Mouser
    Pots: CTS 250K

I had been meaning to do this build since I acquired a Baja telecaster, and eventually realised that I just wanted a '51 Nocaster with a proper nitro finish and the massive baseball bat neck. A freind of mine outfitted his Nocaster with a Bill Asher pickguard and I thought it looked awesome, so I ordered one from him.

The entire build is lightweight, sounds great, and the guitar is resonant as heck.

Here is the guitar in action last Sunday at the Crazy Elephant here in Singapore:

cheers for the positive comments guys, very grateful the build came out nice!

Haha, actually that's the first thing that came to mind when I took delivery of the pickguard. Who knows, maybe one fine day I'll do a version of that guitar!
