Beautiful looking and sounding Martin OMC-16E burst.
Congrats! I generally don't like cutaways on acoustics, but don't mind it at all on this guitar. Looks beautiful.
Very nice. I have owned a couple of Martins in my life. They are the benchmark of acoustic guitars.
I kinda want one of those. Ovangkol top/back/sides. Looks fantastic.
Wunderbar, seriously so!
Beautiful, thanks for posting photos!
And congratulations, I hope you have many happy hours with it, it's beautiful
Yes, very nice, and looks like a great player!
"Now that's what I'm talking about!" That's a keeper...
Congratulations enjoy yourself immensely
How is the action and playability on it?
A work of art, just beautiful!
They look much better ( IMO) on the smaller body guitars- the more pinched ' figure 8' body seems to go better with a cutaway, than a Dread.
Nice guitar, assuming a pickup system too?, I bet it's a fun gigging guitar
Thanks @ all for your nice comments!
It came perfectly out of the box. Perfect craftmanship, perfect playability up to the higher frets. It´s strung with 12.
The total ovangkol is what made me curious about this guitar. Never heard or seen that before. So I watched some vids and all delivered the same sound which I enjoyed a lot. It´s got a lot of bass for an OM, defined mids and smooth never harsh highs. Soundwise I would say it suits perfect to the Martin family.
It works perfect with fingerstyle (as far as I can play, I´m not the big fingerstyle player, more picking while singing songs) and also with harder strumming which was very important for me because that´s what I mainly play on an acoustic guitar. It has an impressive dynamic range especially when you change between soft and hard strumming.
It´s got the Fishman Matrix VT enhance system.
Nice! That”s Also an awesome gig bag.
