I’d really have to A/B them. And all ’n’ all, do I actually have a ’50s Baja when having this Cecilie?

Okay, 7.25” radius might be the one that’s missing. Call me a pervert, but I really like 7.25”. For instance Rickenbacker 360/12C63. Without 7.25” radius it would be nearly impossible to play.

I started to have some beer, so my English will be even more sluggish than before. Actually, being nearly 43 yo, I applied to Helsinki University to study English. I was quite good when I was 20 years younger

But anyways, my first Baja has given me an impression that’ll last for decades. A great guitar for great price. A no-brainer IMO

You are not strange for liking a 7.25" radius. Or if you are, we are both strange. I just got a Tele neck with a 7.25" radius, and I'm really liking it so far, especially for chording (which is what I do mostly, anyway). I also like vintage-small frets!

If you reread what he wrote, he asked to be called a pervert?

7.5 is nice, but more important to me is U shape. Loves me a deep neck I do - but don't call me a perverto_Oo_Oo_O

I got tired of waiting for Fender to make the guitar I wanted, so I had to go the partscaster route. Body, 3 lbs-6oz, off ebay. Local guy did the pink finish (I asked him to tone down the pink and he did a nice job mixing in some amber). First neck was USACG all maple. I thought I wanted a fatter neck, but it was too fat. Then I got a USACG neck with a rosewood board. Thinner, but still too thick (I had wanted .84"-.92" but it was .89"-1.01"). Now there is a Musikraft neck on it. Came in exactly as specified, so it's a keeper.

For a pig coloured guitar? You're just being silly.

If it's a matter of holes just shoot them a message. I did the same thing for the Partscaster pic that is my avatar. The original pickguard was 5-hole and for no extra charge they made it an 8-hole.

That's the benefit of buying from someone who cares instead of made-in-bulk Chinese imports.

White is fine until Labor Day. After that back to black.

I agree here. I would go B/W/B personally, but that W/B/W is mighty fine looking. I personally just don't like single ply white on anything other than black finishes, though. So I may be a serious outlier here.

    Goog day!

Cecilie had her first proper run; a two hour guitar lesson. Can’t be more satisfied. That soft V is marvelous. The teacher said that now I have great sound.

Cecilie will definitely be my go-to Tele. No need to worry about wear and tear. And it looks great when a 100 kg bold and rough looking man is holding it :D

The two other Teles (2017 GH RW and 2017 LE pine) are extremely nice and keepers, and they have their chance to be played in certain situations. They just aren’t the ones which get grabbed in a hurry and thrown to the backseat of my car.

And the pink looks even better in daylight. Nice, pale and piggy! Happy happy joy joy!

    Good afternoon!

Cecilie has been my bedroom guitar for a couple of days now. Gotta admit, plays like a dream. There are two things I`m really fond of. The shell pink, naturally, and the neck. As thick as a baseball bat, perfect for someone like me who likes to keep his/her thump above the neck when doing barres. Should get compensated saddles, but no hurry. And a better pickguard, this one is Hosco with holes drilled all over the place.

This is the first guitar for god knows how long, when not even a single hunch of buyers remorse has occurred. The 4-way and even S1 doesn’t feel/seem/hear that bad! And the best thing is: my bandmate got jealous :D

I wish you all a great monday, if monday can even ever be great!

Know what looks good on Shell Pink if you can find the right shade? Tortoise:
