9D3F72E1-42F4-4947-B41C-A61DE257E028.jpeg After some research and more importantly playing time, I picked up my second Tele today - the Jimmy Page mirror. The neck, a “custom oval C”, is a dream. Feels great in my hands. The top loading bridge gives the strings a slightly slinkier feel. Pickups sound twangy and bright. I’ve been looking at this model for a while, but the price kept me away. Thankfully, I got a hearty discount, which made my decision much easier.

It really has the makings of becoming one of those hallowed reissue guitars. Fender is good at this!

Congrats! These guitars play so beautifully and sound so nice. Very much considered one myself.

A few more photos. You can barely make out the grain peaking through the lacquer.

I didn’t realize the JP was a top-loader. Congrats on your super cool Tele!

I agree!! My Mirror Tele is the best Tele I’ve ever owned. That list is long and distinguished.

One can also do the traditional through-the-body. I like the option.

I know guitars differ in weight. My Road Worn Player isn’t heavy, per se, but the new JP is noticeably lighter. Time will tell if it becomes my #1.
