My search for a p-90 guitar has ended. My local shop had this new Jetstream 390 on their wall and I really loved this guitar after playing it for a while. I wasn’t sure about the color at first because it is outside of my usual wheelhouse for guitar colors but man has it grown on me.

This is a limited run of 12 guitars only for the Tone Shop in Dallas/Fort Worth. Heavy gold flake top with a brown stained back and sides. Loving it!

That's really nice! I'm kind of a sucker for gold guitars.

Nice. Never liked gold tops but they are starting to grow on me. Is that wired like a strat?

    Yes, same switching options.

A couple differences, the middle pickup is reverse wound so it helps with the hum in the in between positions. Also it has a bass roll off pot that allows you to dial back the bass and get a little more Fendery tone from the p-90s

Love me a Reverend . . . Once had two of them, but they were thinned from the herd some time back. They are really nice guitars.

Wow, plugged it into my ‘65 reissue deluxe reverb and it sounds amazing! Does all sorts of great clean tones and turn on the OCD or tube screamer and it gets super mean. Man, I know there’s a honeymoon period but this thing is amazing.

If there was ever a guitar that could pull off gold flake, that’s the one!

Also, the only thing better than a P90 is two P90s.

The only thing better than two P90s is three P90s.

The only thing better than three P90s is… well, that way lies madness.

    Congrats!

One of my all time regrets was selling my Jetstream 390!

Very sweet. I have a Reverend DAW (P90 neck/HB bridge) with that same body shape. Really comfortable and a great guitar to play. Very happy with Reverend quality and the bass contour knob is excellent. You've got a beautiful guitar there. Enjoy!
