For awhile I wanted something besides a Tele to add to the collection. Couldn't get away from them Teles though. So what's the next best thing? A Tele hybrid! Once I saw these I knew I had to have one. This thing just sounds beautiful through my Fender Mustang LT25. Small amp perfect for apartment living.

This is my first non string thru body so it's weird seeing the back without the ferrules. Weighs 7.9 pounds so definitely my heaviest Tele in the stable. Not sure if it was measured with the trem bar or not, but what's an ounce (or less)? My only complaint for the guitar is I wish they rounded off the edges of the binding a bit more. Other than that it's a very comfortable neck.

Very impressed with this guitar. A Tele and a Jazzmaster best of 2 worlds. Might not be for some people, but hey I'm the one playing it!

I like it!

But as Ned Beatty says in "Network":

“You have meddled with the primal forces of nature Mr Beale, and I won’t have it.”

I’ve been jonesing for that Squier with the Jazzmaster pups. I love the tones of my JM but it’s so heavy! Looks great! Enjoy!

Ferrules are my choice as well.

HNGD!
I loved mine.
Large pancake body just wasn't a fit for me to play for long periods of time.

Large pancake body? The body with a rough measurement doesn't seem to measure differently from AO 60s Tele body I have. Not arguing just confused haha

The wood on that body is gorgeous! The fretboard is nice and dark...and it's bound! And it has the best trem system Fender ever devised!

Does it sound like a Jazzmaster?

At my age a few inches longer matters.
My shape and their shape didn't mesh.
The G&G Cases for the Fender offsets are longer too.

My ultra JazzMaster.
