Actually the NGD dates to 2nd April, I've been the first to purchase one here in Brighton.

Icluded in the case are: a strap, a cable for the amp, certificate, the set of circled mirrors to be applied, instructions and layout for applying the mirrors, a pouch with care and special instructions for this model.

It's a 1959 Telecaster, it's heavy, Jimmy Page oval C neck profile not thin as a 60's. Feels geat a profile I appreciate much.
Bridge is top-loaded, setup perfect I just had to retune it, action is a bit high as I like it especially on a Tele.

I like it. I was missing a Tele and thought of a Ron Kirn, but considered the cost of ship and customs this has been cheaper(after all) and it's what I wanted, a '59.

(May '59 Fender introduced Slab RW fingerboard, that's what I was looking to have)
    Sorry for low quality picture.

Lucky dog! I dig that one better than the dragon. I would leave the mirrors in with the rest of the case candy if she was mine. That's a beautiful instrument.

Will you put the mirrors on?

Looks drop dead gorgeous! A white blond Tele is a lovely thing.

I wonder if you could please provide any feedback on the character of the pickups compared to whatever.

The price bracket is not for me.

I don't think so, I bought because, yes I was a JP fun when I was younger, but mainly because it's a '59, nitrocellulose finish, excellent RW board and the bridge. That oval C profile is sweet.
    :)

Yes a blonde Tele is lovely.
It's my first Tele ever, so I can't for now.
I'm using a cheap used VHT 6W head on a new Line6 DT25 cabinet, straight, no FX and the neck PU is warm and round yet clear and typically single. The bridge is full and feels like adding some output when I switch to it.
Yes the price is not low but not too high if we consider this Tele is very close to a CS.
I've been saving while following the evolution and waiting for the JP Teles to be launched.

The Custom Shop set of two is for 50,000USD almost all them sold. ;-)

i understand that, I would have ended with a higher investment, but yes I agree, a RK is maybe better. Maybe, one day...

It's a beauty. I love the contrast between the body finish and this very dark rosewood board!
