Actually, Gibson officially lists the color as "Blue Mist". It can look completely different depending on the light. Crazy beautiful I think. Thanks for taking a look, guys. I gotta say, this guitar is incredible. I actually got the guitar because I have (or had anyway lol) a half dozen Teles and just wanted something with humbuckers. I had convinced myself that I didnt like buckers at all, but that it'd really round out the arsenal. Anyway, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG! The Burstbucker 1 pups are perfect for what I do. They are clear, articulate, fairly low output, relatively less aggressive and just overall smooth. I also expected this thing to never stay in time with the Maestro and surprisingly enough it does a fair job of holding tune. Granted, you're never gonna do Eruption-style dive bombs with it, but it adds a nice little vibrato effect and looks cool as hell to boot. I've always been a Gibson acoustic guy, but I seriously believe I'm becoming a Gibson electric convert as well.

I can relate. I've wanted the right Les Paul all my life. I've had some great ones, but never could totally bond. Always too dark and too hot. Recently got one with '57 Classic pickups, and I can't stop playing it. Bright, tight, very articulate. And still FAT. Enjoy it, man. Very cool.

Nice Pickup! That counts as a good trade... How is the meastro?

For what I do, I really like it. The previous owner replaced the TOM with a Tonepros roller bridge, which works with the maestro quite well. Heavy use knocks it out of tune but not too bad. Light vibrato, which is really what it's designed for, is where it really shines.
